Meet the Director - Instructor
As a former marketing representative for a major corporation, Jill Evans Kryston learned the importance of a professional image and the benefit of having good manners as she worked to develop positive customer relations. Later, in an administrative position, Ms. Kryston discovered the need for effective communication and people skills as she dealt with customer service and conducted employee training seminars.
During the course of raising three children Ms. Kryston held offices in several Parent Teacher Organizations. She is a past-president of the Friends of the Library and has served on the Library Board of Directors. In addition to community service and church related activities, Ms. Kryston has co-chaired the annual Cancer Survivors Celebration of Northeastern Pennsylvania. In each instance she learned the necessary dynamics required to possess and maintain successful leadership skills using the powerful principles of etiquette.
While working in a high school guidance office Ms. Kryston noticed there was a general lack of common courtesies and respect among the students. Having always been a believer in polite behavior, she saw a need and decided to embark upon a career to teach etiquette and protocol. She began with a vision to reclaim civility in our society.
